OMG this really was one of my all time favourite weddings, it was just so full of fun, I have never laughed so much as I did at this wedding, gorgeous flowers, I do so love tulips and a flippin fantastic venue, so very different to any wedding venue I have been to be before, {every wedding should have a jumping pillow!!!}, I had such a wonderful day!!! And what made it even more special for me is that I very much now think of Colette & Dave as friends as back in April last year when we were having the stunning hot weather I spent a wonderful day with them both and their gorgeous little boy Ben and baby bump who is now the adorable baby Chloe doing two photoshoots with them, first a family one at Colette's parents house and then a fabby engagement shoot at York Station, so I felt I had really got to know them both and their family, but also Colette is one of my best ever facebook page 'likers', she is always there giving lovely comments and likes to all my pics.........a BIG BIG thank you Colette for all your facebook ♥!!!

So this very special day took place on a perfect day in April, the weather was just amazing, sunshine and blue sky with lovely white clouds all day long, mad to think the day before had produced every weather condition possible, sleet, snow, wind and rain and on top of all that was on the tad bit cold side, don't you just love the British weather!!!

And the place all this loveliness took place was in my native North Yorkshire at the York Maze just outside York near the village of Elvington. It is such a pretty place with lots of barn buildings so lots of lovely brick walls, I do like a nice wall and had such a lovely rustic feel, made even lovelier on the day by all the gorgeous bunting hand made with love and care by Colette herself and as you all know I do so love bunting!!! And then what just made my day, week, year was the JUMPING PILLOW, this I have never seen before but it is like a bouncy castle but without the walls and a lot bigger and to my absolute joy Colette & Dave wanted to have their group shots with the bridesmaids, best men and ushers all jumping on the pillow, well these shots really are some of my favourite group shots ever, we all had such a laugh!!! And laughing and having a good time really was the theme of the day...........do enjoy!!!
